Common Questions

Before You Book

What is the best Moab rafting tour for first-timers?

The Moab Daily Float or Half Day Rafting Trip are ideal for beginners and families. Both offer Class I–II water on the Colorado River just outside Moab — stunning canyon scenery with no prior experience required.

What's the most exciting one-day whitewater trip from Moab?

Westwater Canyon is the gold standard for thrill-seekers — genuine Class III–IV rapids including the famous Skull Rapid, through a dramatic ancient black schist gorge. The best single-day whitewater run in the region.

Do I need to bring my own gear?

No. All paddle equipment, life jackets, and safety gear are included on every guided trip. See our What to Bring guide for personal packing recommendations like sunscreen, water bottles, and appropriate clothing.

When is rafting season in Moab, Utah?

Flatwater trips on the Colorado run year-round. Prime whitewater season — including Westwater Canyon and Cataract Canyon — runs April through September. May and June spring runoff creates the most powerful conditions and largest rapids of the year.

Can I book a private or group rafting trip?

Absolutely. We offer private group charters for corporate retreats, family reunions, bachelor parties, and school trips. Custom itineraries, all rivers, and any trip length are available — contact us for group pricing.
